Document Description
The 2006 Mariposa County General Plan identifies 17 planning areas, including the Catheys Valley Community Planning Area. The General Plan states that "area plans may be adopted for purposes of maintaining rural character, indentifying and preserve public lands, protecting agriculture lands, or addressing localized issues in greater detail than is possible in the countywide General Plan" (p. 5-28).
