Document Description
The project proposes a Master Community Specific Plan Project ("project"), which would allow for the subdivision and development of the 5,792 acre site with up to 6,800 new residential units, 550,000 square feet of commercial uses, and 1.1 million square feet of employment-based uses (including office, light industrial, and research and development uses). The proposed project also includes a total of 131 acres of the project site for institutional uses including community centers, schools, and hospitals. The project proposes 449 acres of park/recreation/improved open space including a central Park with a lake, a sports park, and a range of smaller neighborhood parks. The project also proposes 3,150 acres of resource management areas (including habitat preserves).
