PLU: Rancho Cielo Youth Campus
Z & GP: Public/Quasi-Public
The proposed project is a master plan to expand the physical facilities and the programs offered by Rancho Cielo, an existing special programs facility for youth. Permits from Monterey County would include a master use permit, grading permits, and buildings permits. Improvements would be constructed in phases, as funding becomes available, over a period of perhaps 20 yrs. The proposed project would add about 95,070 sf of buildings to the existing 25,505 sf of buildings (total 120,875 sf) and re-configure the circulation for a net increase of about 176,000 sf of roads and parking. Program enrollment would increase to about 155 youth, including some who would be resident at the site.
