Document Description
The project proponent proposes to construct and operate a wind energy facility on 9,780 acres. The facility would generate up to 750 MW of energy by utilizing up to 250 WTGs. The project proposes to following applications ten zone change applications in the zone maps as listed in the table above, (b) two general plan amendments and nine specific plan amendments to remove reservations for future arterial and collector roads along section and mid-section lines within the project area, (c) street vacations in five zone maps to remove existing public right-of-way easements to allow for wind turbine placement, and (d) one CUP to allow a temporary concrete batch plant (19.12.030.G) in the A (Exclusive Agriculture) District.
