- During the 2005/2006 winter season, landslides resulting from heavy precipitation and stormwater runoff damaged the embankment and stormwater conveyance features at the above mentioned sites in the City of Oakland. To ensure the safety of Oakland residents and motorists, the City of Oakland Public Works Agency (City) proposes to restore the stormwater conveyance features damaged during the landslide events of 2005/2006 winter season. Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) representative assessed the damage at these sites and authorized the provision of funds to stabilize and restore the damage caused by the landslides oat each site.
