Document Description
IR Site 10 consists of three unlined ponds with bermed sides. The total area of the Site is approximately 6 acres. Pont 1 is the largest and is about 550x250x10 feet while the two smaller ponds 2 and 3 are about 250x125x10 feet. The pond floors are approximately 2 feet below adjacent grade and the berms surrounding the ponds are 6 to 8 feet above ground. The ponds functioned as sewage flowed into pond 1 where most solids settled out. The effluent flowed into ponds 2 and then into pond 3. Currently all ponds are dry.

Access to Site 10 is further restricted by a locked metal chain link fence that surrounds the perimeter. There will be no impact to any human or ecological receptors on route to the disposal facility due to the remoteness of the site.
