- Verizon Wireless is requesting a conditional use permit to allow the construction of a 60' tall cell tower that would be stealthed to look like a three legged bell tower. The project would also include a fenced 25' X 40' area for installation of telecommunications equipment, including standby diesel generator with 210 gallon fuel tank and a 12' X 16' equipment building. The surrounding fence would be a 6' tall staggered fence. The exterior of the equipment building shelter will match the style of the existing building to the south and will have a maximum height of 12'; the exterior metal generator will be painted a color to blend with the surrounds.

- The Lead Agency has determined that the herein described activity is a project subject to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The Lead Agency has further determined that the project is exempt from CEQA and qualifies for a Class 32 exemption from the preparation of environmental documents. Class 32 exempts in-full development on lots of no more than five acres substantially surrounded by urban uses. Further, the Lead Agency has determined that use of the categorical exemption is not barred by one of the exceptions set forth in Section 15300.2 of the CEQA Guidelines.
