The State Department of Food & Agriculture is proposing to acquire this 2 acre parcel that is occupied by a number of building including a main office, 3 mobile offices and out building. The site is currently leased by the California Department of Food & Agriculture as a diagnostic laboratory for animal diseases facility. Upon acquisition, the facility will be fully owned by the State of California.

Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of acquisition of buildings and related facilities that are currently leased by the State Department of Food & Agriculture as a diagnostic laboratory for animal diseases facility. The facilities are currently owned by the National Orange Show. The project is exempt because the contemplated action is simply a change in ownership of the facility to the State of California from the National Orange Show.
