Document Description
The Valencia Creek Sewer Replacement Project involves the abandonment and replacement of existing sewer pipelines located underneath State Route 1 (Hwy 1) in Aptos, the construction of replacement pipelines in adjacent local streets, and the construction of two pump stations. The segment of sewer pipeline to be abandoned traverses underneath Highway 1 from Soquel Drive to Carrera Circle. Two submersible pump stations with their respective force mains, one adjacent to the pipeline's intersection with Soquel Drive and one within the pipeline's intersection with Carrera Circle, will be installed to redirect sewer flows into existing pipelines, thereby redirection and replacing the pipelines to be abandoned.
