Document Description
In December 2000, East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) filed a petition for time extension to Dec. 31, 2040 for its water right Permit 10478 (Application 13156) with the Division of Water Rights. On Sept. 23, 2014, EBMUD approved a FEIR for the petition for time extension. Permit 10478 allows EBMUD to directly divert up to 194 cubic feet per second and divert to storage up to 353,000 acre-feet of water from the Mokelumne River at Pardee and Camanche Reservoirs in Amador and San Joaquin Counties between Dec. 1 and July 1, mainly for municipal use in EBMUD's service area in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
