Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed an Amendment for Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0002-RS, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, California Department of Transportation. This project involves replacing the San Gabriel River Bridge# 53-2245 on State Route 39 at Post Mile 32.1 with a single span bridge. The project also includes realigning the existing road approach and departure for the new bridge and demolishing the existing structure. Riparian vegetation will be cleared for approximately 100 feet upstream and 200 feet downstream below the existing bridge. The Project will result in impacts including temporary impacts to 0.35 acre of streambed and riparian habitat (300 linear feet).
