Document Description
The project consists of the expansion of the EH&S Building service yard on the University of California, Santa Barbara campus, as shown on the vicinity map of the project drawings. The project area is currently directly adjacent to the existing service yard and consists of mainly open space with some vegetation, utilities, trees, and fencing. The construction will include the clearing and grubbing of the existing project area, regarding and compacting native materials, placing aggregate base, asphalt concrete, and portland cement concrete slabs, raising utility surface facilities to final grades, relocating part of an existing storm drain pipe, removing and existing headwall, constructing a new storm drain system, installing street light conduit and lighting, removing trees, constructing conrete curb and gutter, and all other improvements shown on the construction documents and included in these specifications.
