Document Description
Emergency repairs will be carried out to prevent further aggressive erosion of this particular section of the riverbank. The aggressive erosion is occurring due to hydraulic erosion on the lower slope, wave erosion on the upper slope and the bank instability due to annual draining of Lodi Lake. The purpose of the emergency repairs will be to stabilize and protect the area against further erosion, while providing new trail access. The beneficiary of the project will be the visitors, the public at large and the environment itself.
