Document Description
CDCR will construct two additional asphalt parking lots and asphalt two existing gravel parking areas at DVI. The purposed scope of work will include pole mounted double light fixtures, walkways, and storm drains. DVI currently has 686 asphalt spaces and 76 gravel parking spaces, for a total of 762 parking spaces. Parking is inadequate and especially problematic during the shift change between Second and Third Watch when as many as 900 Second Watch staff, 100 non-staff, and 300 Third Watch staff compete for the same 762 spaces. This project proposes to construct a total of 410 additional asphalt parking spaces. The construction of each parking lot includes grading, electrical lighting with connectivity to existing power supply, and drainage to local storm systems.
