Document Description
The proposed project will renovate the Department of Motor Vehicles Field Office located at 2135 Civic Center Drive, Redding, CA. The project is comprised of one store and approximately 7,000 gross square feet of an existing larger office building. The renovation will provide additional workload capacity for the field office program and improve building. this vacated space will add approximately 1,500 gross square feet to the DMV field office space. The vacant space will be converted into a break room and storage area. Other work includes the replacement of existing mechanical systems, upgrades to the electrical system, and replacement of existing floor and wall finishes, ceiling and lighting systems. Improvements will include fire/life safety, security, American Disabillity Act (ADA) code compliance, signage, and interior space.
