Document Description
The project is for Mendocino City Community Services District to construct a 19 ft x 11 ft building over an existing pump station, repair an existing access road to the Heeser Drive Lift Station, and to install a telephone line to the new building. The project is located on Heeser Dr. in Mendocino on State Park land (APN 119-170-10). THe building is needed to house an emergency generator that will be installed by 2010. The purpose for the existing road is for routine maintenance of the pump station and to provide access for emergency vehicles, if needed at the site. The lift station telephone line will be used for an emergency dialer to alert District personnel of a power outage or quipment failure. The improvements are required to help prevent Sanitary Sewer Overflows and for safety.
