The Jamestown Design Review District encompasses the portion of Jamestown extending from State Highway 108 to Fifth Avenue/Sierra Avenue, including Main Street, parcels on the west side of State Highway 108/49, the east side of State Highway 108/49 extending from one mile to teh northeast of the intersection of Jamestown Road and Fifth Avenue to the intersection of Rolling Hills Boulevard and State Highway 108/49, and property within proximity of these areas.

Following review of the proposed Jamestown Design Guidelines, the Environmental Coordinator for the County of Tuolumne has determined that the project is exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15308 of the State CEQA Guidelines because the Guidelines will clarify the provisions of the existing Guidelines which were adopted to protect and enhancement the environment of the Jamestown community.
