The California Department of Public Health (Department) is a responsible agency for this project. The Department's Proposition 50 Program is providing state funds for the project. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power proposes to improve the system reliability during emergencies or outages by providing additional capacities, redundancies, and a new source of water.
