CalFire Sacramento Headqurters Lease Renewal
NOE - Notice of Exemption
For the past several years, CalFire's Sacramento Headquarters has leased office space 1300 U Street in downtown Sacramento to house its headquarters for Human Resources, Technical Services, Business Services, Information Technology, Contracts, and other program areas. The leased building provides CalFire with approximately 47,288 square feet of office space. This project involves executing an amendment to the existing lease to extend the lease period for several additional years. The project also included a number of minor be no ground-disturbing activities, no increase in use or capacity, nor any other changes to existing conditions which could possibly result in environmental impacts.
This project involves extending the lease at an existing CalFire facility. No environmental impacts would occur. The project fits well within the description for a Class 1 Categorical Exemption to CEQA. CAL FIRE has determined that no Exceptions exist which would reclude the use of this Categorical Exception as stipulated in CEQA Guidelines § 15300.2.
