An economically and environmentally sustainable community development that provides housing and employement opportunities for low-income developmentaly dissable (DD) children and adults. The two primary components include a Wellness Center and Office park. In addition to these primary components the project includes: development of a 1.6 acre train system, resoration of wetland habitat(9.7 acres) us of sustainable on-site farming, a native plant nursery, recycling and composting, dog walking and grooming services, bus stops and shuttle service, solar cels for heating/energy, natural gas/biodiesel generatior, wind turbines, geothermal cooling systems, bio-diesel filing stations, rain garden infiltration/treatment ponds and other sustainable development components.
