Document Description
This proposed work is a follow up to an earlier project that widened the Interstate 5 bridge over Calaveras River. The rock slope revetment was deemed insufficient by the Central Valley Flood Control Board, so Caltrans proposes to install additional rock slope protection. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2014-0324-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Javier Almaguer, California Department of Transportation.
