The 14-acre project sit eis located in a land designation known, and mapped on the USGS 7.5' Terminous and Lodi South quadrangles, as the Shima Tract. The proposed projet is the development by the LUSD, on the above described site, of an K-8 school facility wich is projected to serve a maximum of 850 K-8 students. It is anticipated that most, if not all, of the students will come from the residential development that is being proposed as the Sanctuary Master Plan Development (EDAW, 2006). The campus will provide traditional educational opportunities through classroom education, outdoor recreation and off-site opportunities. The facility will not include a venue for organized sports with high intensity lighting. The school will be administered by a typical combination of administrators, teachers, and facilities support staff.
