Document Description
The proposed improvements to the existing wastewater treatment system include collection system work on gravity sewer lines and the lift station, refurbishment of the existing treatment facility, conversion of the non-operational effluent filters to treatment wetlands, and the purchase and construction of a wetland effluent disposal site. The treatment wetland will have an umpermeable liner to prevent water from seeping into the soil after treatment and disinfection the water will be pumped to the disposal wetland which will not have an impermeable liner where evaporation, transpiration and sewage will occur.
