Document Description
The Permittee proposes to improve traffic conditions for lane-changing and merging on Highway 1 between Soquel and Morrissey Boulevard. Impacts associated with these improvements will affect the Arana Gulch drainage and one of its tributaries. Impact areas consists of steep highway banks well above the Arana Gulch channel but within the fringes of riparian canopy that overhangs the roadway. Temporary impacts will result from equipment access during retaining wall construction and drainage improvements within the western ephemeral tributary to Arana Gulch.
