Document Description
The proposed sewer project will consist of various improvements to accomodate the abandonment of the Medio Creek sewer crossing and to reroute sewage in the Naples Beach area of Half Moon Bay. The Granada Sanitary District (District) has a 10-inch sewer line that is currently attached to a concrete foundation of an abandoned old county highway bridge crossing Medio Creek. Portions of the foundation of this bridge have eroded and San Mateo County has elected not to maintain the bridge, therefore the District would eliminate the continuous use of the sewer line crossing Medio Creek. Improvements include installation of new sewer lines and a new forcemain, improvements to the Naples Beach Pump Station, and modification of an existing forcemain for emergency service.
