Document Description
The Project will provide advanced treatment of wastewater prior to discharge to Atascadero Creek, and will ensure compliance with the District's Waste Discharge Requirements and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit that were issued by the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board. The Project will upgrade the WWTP, and will involve installing: equipment for rag and grit removal, coagulation equipment, a suspended air floatation system, fuzzy filters, disinfection components, new cogeneration pasteurization equipment, electrical main/sub paneling, mixing equipment, effluent monitoring equipment, a new pump station for a reclaimed water delivery system, biosolids dewatering and composing facilities, and lab sampling equipment. The Project may also include replacing an irrigation line, and installing an internet cable connection and security system.
