- Document Description
- Lower Perazzo Meadow Restoration, Project ID 2019027. Project will enhance hydrologic and biologic function within Lower Perazzo Meadow (50 acres). This will be achieved through restoring the Little Truckee River to its natural channel system. Flow will be returned to the remnant channel system by filling most of the existing incised channel. The filled area will be shaped to match the natural grade of the surrounding meadow and the disturbed area will be revegetated with native meadow species. In addition, a grade control riffle will be installed at the downstream end of the site for the purpose of maintaining meadow elevation where flow exits the meadow.
