Document Description
Request by Stanford University for Planned Community Permits (PC2020-001 and PC2019-003) and Tentative Parcel Maps (TM2020-004 and TM2019-005) as part of Phase 2 of the Stanford in Redwood City Precise Plan. Phase 2 consists of the proposed development on Blocks C and E. The Block C project consists of two office buildings, totaling 228,039 sq. ft. of office, up to 88 feet in height (approximately 5 stories), 26,077 sq. ft. of amenity space and 905 new parking spaces comprised of a parking structure. The Block E project consists of a 265,000 sq. ft. square foot medical office building, up to 150 feet in height (9 stories), various site improvements, and 834 new parking spaces comprised from a parking structure and surface parking lot. This request is also for a change to the approved Phase 1 project (PC2016-001) parking requirements (Blocks A, B & portions of Block C). On September 9, 2013, the Redwood City Council certified the EIR for the Stanford in Redwood City Precise Plan (SCH #2008102023). Staff prepared a consistency checklist for the development of Phase 2 and determined that the project was consistent with the previously approved EIR and would not result in any new environmental impacts.
