Document Description
DOE's proposed action is to issue a loan guarantee to Solyndra for construction of the first phase of a photovoltaic manufacturing facility, administrative offices, a cafeteria, and a fitness center (altogether, referred to as "Fab 2"). The completed Fab 2 and Back End facility combination would be capable of producing enough solar panels per year to produced 420 megawatts of electricity. The 609,650 sf Fab 2 would include 530,200 sf of manufacturing plant floor area, 64,000 sf of ancillary office space, an 11,450 sf cafeteria, and a 4,000 sf employee fitness center.
