Document Description
The City of Sacrametno Combined Sewer System (CSS) has been determined to be in need of rehabilitation, due to inadequate hydralic capacity. The proposed project consists of the construction of various sewer segments and, potentially, a pumping station, as well as the construction of a large underground storage facility within the proposed Curtis Park Village project site. The purpose of the proposed project is to store approximately 300,000 cubic feet of stormwater during heavy rainfall periods in order to lower the hydralic grade line, thus reducing the potential for flooding in the Curtis Park neighborhood and other surrounding areas.
