Document Description
The Railroad Avenue Specific Plan project objectives are to allow for the rezoning of specific lands and related changes to planning controls in an area within the City of Pittsburg, in order to provide opportunities for transit oriented development around a planned transit station. To accomplish the project objectives, the Railroad Avenue Specific Plan Area would allow for the creation of ~1,845 new residential units and 988,449 sf of new commercial floor area within the ~97 acres of project area closest to the proposed new BART station.
