Document Description
Mojave Public Utilities District proposes to construct and operate a new replacement water well (Well No. 9) and integrated arsenic treatment unit to serve the Cache Creek Subdivision. Prior to installation of the arsenic treatment unit, the District plans to conduct pilot studies in order to determine the appropriate treatment media. Additional components of the project include installing ~2,700 ft of 8 inch transmission line to join 2 existing wells (Wells No. 7 & 8) to Well No. 9, and electrical and instrumentation equipment. The replacement well, arsenic treatment unit, and pipeline will be located on a District owned parcel comprised of ~19.34 acres.
