The proposed project is the demolition of the Michael White Adobe, a locally designated historic landmark that is also eligible for listing in the National or California Registers. The Adobe would be replaced with a concrete-asphalt open area that would be accessible to all school occupants. This area would expand the recreational area and provide new space for students to congregate.
