Jose M. Rodriguez has submitted Zone change #08-0005 proposing to change the current C-2 9General Commercial) zoning to M-1 (Light Indutrial) on his 19.39 acre property. The current use of the property is for a mini storage facility and is also utilized for outside parking of commercial vehicles for the facilities clients. The current C-2 (General Commercial) zone does not allow for commercial vehicle storage or parking. The applicant propoes to change the zone on his property to M-1 (light Industrial), which allows for both a Mini Warehouse and a Freight Storage yrard. The proposed change of the zone would allow the applicant and the current uses of the property to comply with the County of Imperial Land Use Ordinance.
