Document Description
The project is proposing to construct a mixed use development project with a focus on educational facilities, professional offices and supporting uses. The proposed project is identified as the Murrieta Education Center, and if approved by the City of Murrieta, it would be developed in the southwestern portion of the City; northwest of the intersection of Monroe Avenue and Fig Street. The proposed facilities include: a retail center; two education buildings designated for clssroom and research office space; a central building; and parking areas to support all of the proposed uses. In addition to these onsite facilities, the project is required to make the following off-site imrpovements: (1) construct one-half width roadway improvements along Monroe Avenue from its intersection with GuavaStreet southeast to the southeastern property boundary at the extension of Fig Street; (2) construct full width improvements on Guava Street fromt he current improved roadway to the intersection of Monroe (about 1/4 mile); (3) construct full width improvements on Jordan Lake from the current improved roadway tot he intersection of Jordan and Monroe (about 1/4 mile) and install all utilities in rodwaya within the offsite roadways.
