Document Description
The applicant's purpose to develop a truck parking, temporary automobile storage area, and an office for the proposed transportation business. The project is estimated to generate 2,528 daily trips, 225 morning peak hour trips, and 202 afternoon peak hour trips as projected within the project's attached Traffic Study. Actual truck traffic is estimated to be approximately one-third (1/3) of the total trips. The project site is approximately 10.29 acres in size and the access will be from Gateway Road. The trucking business is intended to hire approximately twenty (20) employees and will also be leasing office space for a total of approximately thirty-one (31) employees on-site. Water will be supplied by the existing Gateway Water Treatment Plant and waste water will be handled by the existing Gateway Water Treatment Plant with on-site drainage to flow into the proposed retention basin.
