Document Description
The proposed project consists of the design and installation of a new domestic water storage tank, booster pump station, and connection of the new tank to the Buttonwillow Co. Water District water system. The purpose of the project is to provide a safe, reliable, and adequate supply of water for the unincorporated community of Buttonwillow. Domestic water service to the Buttonwillow community is provided by the District-owned water system, which provides 434 service connections to approx. 1,215 residents. The new water tank will provide from 250,000 to 500,000 gallons of additional water storage capacity, which will enable the District to provide adequate storage capacity for domestic and fire protection purposes.
