Document Description
The proposed project consists of two components: (1) the City of Oakdale 2030 General plan, and (2) a Climate Action Plan for the City of Oakdale. The 2030 General Plan outlines the City's long term public policies and sets guidelines for the use of the public and private lands within the City, the City's Sphere of Influence, and some areas adjacent to the City's Sphere of Influence. The Climate Action Plan sets goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by establishing City policies to incorporate environmental responsibility into the City's operations and management of residential, commercial and industrial growth. The Climate Action Plan also establishes responsible policies regarding education, energy and water ruse, air quality, transportation, waste reduction, economic development, and open space and natural habitats.
