Document Description
The project is the adoption of a new management plan for Boggs Mountain Demonstration State Forest which provides direction and guidance for the managed use of forest resources and non-timber resources with an emphasis on forest research and demonstrations, recreation, maintenance of wildlife habitat, and water quality protection. Timber harvesting is one of the mechanisms used to implement forest management and public trust resources. Other mechanisms include reforestation, vegetation management, controlled burning, and other silvicultural methods.
