Document Description
The project is limited to grading of a cut slope to support construction of a Class 1 bicycle trail within the existing right-of-way (ROW) of the California Department of Transportation. The project will include realignment of a 203-foot section of ditch, an unnamed tributary Alder Creek, to just outside the toe of slope for the bike trail. The work will include vegetation removal, filling, grading, recontouring of the ditch
to replicate preexisting conditions, and restoration/revegetation of the ditch and all temporary disturbance areas. The graded slope and impacted section of ditch will remain within the U.S. Highway 50 ROW. The Project will result in the fill of 0.004 acre of seasonal wetland swale and temporary impacts to 203 feet (0.009 acre) of constructed drainage ditch, which will be realigned and restored.
