Document Description
Zone 7 Water Agency (Zone 7) proposes to remove an existing concrete pad currently used to control stream flow in Arroyo Las Positas under the North Livermore Avenue Bridge and to replace it with a V-notched concrete weir. Because of the increased flow through the Arroyo Las Positas, the existing concrete pad bas been unable to sufficiently control flow to allow accurate stage and discharge measurements at the Arroyo Las Positas near Livermore gauging station. The purpose of the project is to provide Zone 7 with a control structure that accommodates seasonal flows that will provide accurate stage and discharge data for the stream, especially during the periods of low flow.
