Document Description
The proposed project consists of the proposed construction, replacement, and/or improvements to the Bayfront levees at four locations along the shoreline of the San Francisco Bay from south of San Mateo Creek to the Foster City limits with levees and floodwalls that meet the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) standards for adequate flood protection against coincident 100-year (one-percent) high tides and wind generated waves and wave and wave runup. The purpose of the proposed project is to improve 100-year flood protection and safety in the area.
