Document Description
The UCSF Mission Bay campus includes a 43-acre research site and 14-acre hospital site totaling 57 acres. This Project will construct a 238,000-gsf, five-story clinical research and basic research facility on a site in the center of the USCF Mission Bay campus . The Project supports multidisciplinary research dedicated to development of treatments, cures, and preventions for disease of ervous system. Uses in the new building include wet lab space, an outpatient clinical research facility, laboratory support, office/computational research and training. The Project will house approximately 579 employees and students, and approximately 60 patients visiting the clinic daily. The Project has been designed to be consistent with the general concepts and guidelines of the Mission Bay Campus Master Plan and Design Guidelines (CMPDG), which provide an overall framework for the physical development of the original 43-acre UCSF Mission Bay site.
