Document Description
The proposed Fire Station 48 Replacement project consists of an approx. 12,987sf. building designed to address current needs of the Orange County Fire Authority to provide appropriate levels of emergency response personnel and also provides a "training facility" that may be utilized by the City of Seal Beach for various training functions, including serving as a back-up Emergency Operations Center (EOC) if the main EOC facility at the Seal Beach Police Department is not operational due to an earthquake or other natural disaster event. The building is proposed to provide 3 apparatus bays, sleeping facilities for 10 fire personnel, and a 1,430sf. The current facility provides 2 apparatus bays and sleeping facilities for 6 fire personnel.
