Document Description
The objective of the proposed well, Devil Canyon Well No. 8, is to continue to increase the SBMWD's water production capacity to meet peak day demand requirements of existing development and future connections. The SBMWD's proposes to construct the new well and related appurtenances within the City of San Bernardino. The new well is anticipated to be drilled to a depth of ~400ft. below ground surface (bgs). The well is anticipated to yield ~2,000gal./min. (gpm). Water pumped from the proposed well will be treated with chlorine gas at the well site to provide disinfection. The drilling and development of the proposed well will take ~3 to 4 weeks.
