Document Description
The Carlsbad Pedestrian Master Plan provides as pedestrian transportation and recreation in the City of Carlsbad. The Pedestrian Master Plan will enhance and expand the existing pedestrian network, connect gaps, address constrained areas, improve intersections, provide for greater local and regional connectivity, and encourage even more residents to walk. The Pedestrian Master Plan provides recommendations for the construction of future pedestrian networks consisting of pedestrian routes, signage, accessibility improvements and safety mechanisms. The plan also identifies areas of pedestrian demand and needs, and recommends a variety of programs to allow safe, efficient and convenient travel within Carlsbad and connecting to regional destinations.
