CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0253-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Palmdale as represented by Chuck Heffernan. Project intends to recharge imported water from the CA Aqueduct for later extraction from groundwater from production wells. The project will realign and reinforce the Amargosa Creek in order to provide flood control and protection. Realignment of the creek will consist of grading and excavating both upland and streambed habitat, and out and fill activities.
