Document Description
The project is a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) by for the proposed South Region High School Site #9 (Site) pursuant to Health and Safety Code chapter 6.8. The RAP focuses on excavation and off-site disposal of approx. 29,920 cubic yards (CY) of soils impacted with metals (antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, lead and mercury), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH). After completion of the planned excavations, cleanup confirmation sampling and site restoration will be conducted. If necessary, additional soil volume will be excavated, to ensure all impacted soils containing the identified chemical of concerns (COCs) at concentrations of the corresponding cleanup levels or above have been properly removed.
