Document Description
The proposed project is a General Plan Land Use/Zoning District amendment from RL & RL20 to SD-Res and a Planned Development application for a two-phase Preliminary & Final Planned Development Plan to create an eco-friendly recreational resort facility in conjunction with a habitat conservation plan for the federally listed desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii) on 314.6 acres. The recreational resort facilities and infrastructure will be developed on 13.8 acres and the remaining 300.8 acres will be a habitat conservation area. The project site is located within the Joshua Tree Planning Area.
