- This project is a proposed grant to The Conservation Fund to acquire fee title to 235+/- acres for the protection of California gnatcatcher habitat as well as rare and declining vegetation types, including coastal sage scrub, southern willow scrub/brackish marsh. Four plant species recognized as sensitive by the County of San Diego and California Native Plant Society have been identified on the site, including San Diego sagewort, white coast ceanothus, ashy spike moss and Orcutt's brodiea.
